The hearth of creation where quiet becomes color.
The hearth of creation where quiet becomes color.

Oz is not just a place.

It is the landscape where my life and my art meet. It is the home ground beneath everything I create.

It began as a dream, long before it was real. There was a dream of a sanctuary with a life shaped by animals, open air, quiet rituals, and beauty that doesn’t ask to be explained. Over time that dream became tangible. A farm. A studio. A world with its own rhythm.

Oz is where the horses are fed in the early ( I lie more like mid !) morning. Where seasons move slowly across fields. Where companionship, care, and stillness form the backdrop of each day.

It is also where my paintings begin.

Even when the work becomes surreal or symbolic, even when it opens into theatrical or imagined dimensions, Oz remains the source. The emotional home. The grounding place.

Some as stories.

But they all return here.

Because Oz, for me, is the place where the invisible becomes visible.

This is where it all starts.

Welcome to Oz.

In future posts, I’ll be sharing more from within Oz — the animals, the paintings, and the parallel worlds that sometimes appear at its borders.

The companions of Oz small souls, watchful eyes and everyday magic.
